Meet the Photographer

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I grew up chasing waves and playing sports before finding my true calling behind a lens. Now based in Toronto, I've spent nearly a decade as a professional sports photographer — but the roots of this work go back much further, to shooting my friends surfing with a point-and-shoot camera and learning, instinctively, how to read movement before it happened.

Sports shaped me. I competed across multiple disciplines and played wide receiver for Brazil's national football team for eight years. That experience on the field gave me something no photography course can teach: an athlete's intuition. I know where to be before the play unfolds, how to anticipate the decisive moment, and why the right angle changes everything.

My professional background in sports marketing — working with the NFL, Nike, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Toronto Raptors, among others — gives me a strong understanding of branding, storytelling, fan engagement, and sponsor visibility. I don't just see a great shot; I understand the sponsorship value it can deliver, how it fits a brand's story, and what makes content perform.

Whether it's game action, athlete portraits, team content, or live event coverage, my goal is simple: capture authentic moments from the angles that tell the strongest story.
